Planned Giving:
A bequest in your will or living trust is an uncomplicated way to help protect animals.
A bequest may take several forms. It can be specific sum, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder of your estate after expenses and gifts to loved ones. Bequests can include cash, securities, real estate, houses, and personal property such as valuable collections, art, or jewelry.
Living trusts are a popular choice because the terms of a living trust, unlike a will, can be put into effect immediately upon your death, bypassing probate and keeping the terms private.
Please consider including ESHA in your will or living trust as you contemplate your estate planning.
Collect Purina Weight Circles!
Purina weight circles enable Eastshore to earn points toward the purchase of PURINA products for the shelter animals. Cut out the Purina Weight Circles found on many pet products to include: Purina dog and cat food products such as Pro Plan, Purina One, Purina Cat Chow & Kitten Chow, Kit ‘N Kaboodle, Happy Cat, Purina Veterinary Diets.

WILLS AND BEQUESTS
Please remember Eastshore Humane Association Inc. in your will. The most popular deferred gift is a gift by will. Individuals who die without the benefit of a will, allow the state to decide how their assets should be distributed. Careful consideration should be taken in preparing a will. Please seek qualified counsel. An attorney should write wills. Sample language for a bequest follows:
“I give, devise and bequeath to the Eastshore Humane Association Inc., a Wisconsin non-profit corporation, the (sum or description of property) to be used for the purpose of fulfilling its mission.”
MEMORIALS
Give a donation in your pet’s name. Remember a beloved pet or friend, recognize a birthday, anniversary or unique accomplishment of a loved one through a donation to EHA Memorial Wall.
A special pet memorial stone with your pet’s name on it will be placed in our memorial garden with a donation of $50 dollars or more to the shelter.
